Number of settlements with/without major losses and use/no use of long-distance mobility. Data are available for three periods of drought with trajectories from a sample of 16 settlements. Data are available for 13 settlements for the 1973 drought and 15 settlements for the 1984 drought. A major loss is defined by a more than 25% loss in herds of cattle and small ruminants.
